Bienvenidos!
I've created this blog so my family and friends can keep up with my experience while serving for 27 months in the Peace Corps in Costa Rica.

The tree looks better than I expected, but your bro looks older than 17!!!
House looks fairly descent and you even have window treatments!
Amy, you got the tree and we see quite a few Christmas balls. Aren't the turkeys keeping you company at night? Are the cockroaches ignoring you when you go to bed? Your momma didn't even put up a Christmas tree because you're gone. We too must suffer because you're in CR. No Christmas tree, no cookies, no lemonade.
We just went to Morton's and thought we would send you a giant piece of Sirloin Steak with baked potatoes with cheese, sour cream, melted butter, macaroni and cheese, humongous onion rings, and the absolutely most scrumptious brownie sundae with whipped cream, M&Ms and hot fudge in the world. But since you got no presents this year, we thought you might complain if we now sent all that delicious food.
I graduated from James Madison University with a degree in graphic design in May 2004. For my last two years of college, I knew that the Peace Corps was something that I really wanted to do. Now, I am finally getting to live the PC experience.

Hmmm... nice watches, but where's the Livestrong band?
Are you sure that's your brother and not your new hubby?
I don't know he looks awfully happy.
Amy did you put that smile on his face?

Amy, what more do you want child? Your momma's cooking? As your big brother would say, "Ha ha, can't have it".
Hey Amy,
We just went to Morton's and thought we would send you a giant piece of Sirloin Steak with baked potatoes with cheese, sour cream, melted butter, macaroni and cheese, humongous onion rings, and the absolutely most scrumptious brownie sundae with whipped cream, M&Ms and hot fudge in the world.

Of course your brother looks happy and has a smile on his face... that's how most people look when they have their picture taken!
